What is Mishpachot?
Mishpacha (pl. mishpachot) means family in Hebrew and is the name of our new day camp for years 5-10 this summer.
This will be five days of incredible activities in amazing outdoor spaces. The communities we create will be meaningful and personal, and will include many of your favourite bits of camp.
What does Mishpachot involve?
Mishpachot is an exciting day camp with occasional late finishes that is held in north London locations. We will create a meaningful and personal sense of community, and offer the freedom and fun of traditional Noam summers. There will be programmes, kef (fun) and the craziness you associate with a Noam summer.
*some camps will have late finishes on certain days (dinner provided) and end earlier on Fridays due to Shabbat.
Safety is our number one priority; we will be following all government guidelines including social distancing and limiting group size. We will ensure amongst other measures, that our facilities are regularly cleaned and that participants and staff are washing their hands often.
Applications open at 8pm on Wednesday 1st July and close at 8pm Wednesday 8th July. Following applications closing, participants will be informed if they have a place or are on the waiting list. We will be operating a waiting list in order to be able to offer further spaces if guidance and our capacity permits doing so.
Noam endeavours not to exclude any members of Masorti communities from its programmes for financial reasons alone, and as such offers comprehensive bursaries to participants. Please indicate on the application form (in confidence) if you would like to apply for a subsidy and Tracy will subsequently be in contact.
There is also the option to cover the cost of Mishpachot by creating a payment plan and paying in instalments. Should you wish to create a payment plan, please select this box on the application form and Tracy will be in touch.
Applications for Mishpachot 2020 have now closed. Please email Yoni at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
